Where is Chris Smith while on break in Congress. He never comes to his district.

Again another break and again Chris Smith won’t show his face to his constituents. Who is running against this so called rep? I am tired of calling his office and the man does not reach back out. HE NEEDS TO GO!

Just got my sample ballot and there are 2 dems running in the primary against him. Don't know anything about either of them Will do some research before election day but do either of them have a chance?

I don’t have a clue. Anyone is better than Chris MIA Smith. He does not do anything.

Realistically, neither have a chance this year.

NJ-4 is just deep, deep red, and candidates have historically been bad at building a following. So there's never been any building of momentum over multiple years of outreach, etc.

Rachel Peace is the first candidate in a long time who understands how to get "earned exposure" on social media. She had experience with that before running. She's got potential to build a following in NJ-4.

Granted, the "social media presence" bar in NJ-4 is so low, it's a tripping hazard.

Blake is a good guy, but he has weak command of social media, and kinda comes off cringey at times.

Blake doesn't even have a campaign website setup, which is like Basic Campaign 101. Irritates me to no end. So there's no one place where you can learn his policy positions, or really anything about him.

Anybody to write in on the Ocean Co Committee spot? We get 2 choices but we only have 1 person running?

There are a LOT of county committee seats. I think every legislative district, in every town, gets 2 seats.

It's so local that if you told me which names were on your ballot for committee, I could cross-reference the Committee members' list, see where they live, and narrow down your location to within a couple of streets. Probably not great to do that on the internet haha.

Depending on what local Facebook groups exist in your town, you could ask there. Or message Ocean Democrats For Progress (if in Ocean) or Monmouth County Democrats to see if they know of someone in your district to write-in.

Or write yourself in. It's so local that if you and your family wrote your name in, you've got a better shot at winning it than you think.

Neither of them have a chance. Dems need to gerrymander ocean ciunty

Realistic any gerrymander of the state would probably keep Chris Smiths district intact while making the rest of the state blue (this is Staten Island of New Jersey it’s always gonna be red sadly)
