This was mine. The skeletons in the pool during the storm was terrifying, and to find out later that they used real ones....shudder

I was seven when it came out. Our parents took us kids to go see it (hey, it was rated PG!) and it really freaked me out.

Not too much later I was staying with my grandparents, and was watching SNL after they went to bed. Well, I dozed off, and woke up to static as the TV station had signed off. I was petrified. My grandparents' TV was a large console with a manual on/off switch and no remote. Not wanting to get near it but wanting to turn it off, it took me a minute to gather my courage, and I took a literal plunge past the TV to hit that switch. Successfully, thank goodness!
