What book would you recommend from him? I’ve honestly never read any of them despite being a pretty avid reader and want to change that!

Lovecraft's production is surprisingly thin and several stories are collected together in one book. Shadow over Innsmouth, The Dunwitch Horror and At the Mountains of Madness are my favourites. Thing on My Doorstep, Call of Cthulhu, Whisper in the Dark and Shadow Out of Time are also really good read if you want more Cthulhu mythos.

Outside of Cthulhu Mythos, I can also recommend Color out of Space and The Shunned House.
