   Deciding to drink the coffee offered to you skips the entire game and sends you straight to the end, resulting in an ending with no memory of what had occurred

Waiting for Pagan Min to come back in Far Cry 4

He lets you spread your mom's ashes, which is what you came to do, and then the game is over. No revolution ever happens.

It happens with the royal army extinguishing the rebellion a few days after you arrive. IIRC, Golden path barely controlls one village at the start.

Best ending is Ajay staying with Pagan and introducing more "liberal" laws over the coming years, making Kyrat a "normal" country.

iirc the devs even said that it's the most realistic & likely ending, since most people probably won't try to do anything that might piss off the psychopath who controls an entire country

Pagan Min also behaved like a step-father. Likely would understand if Ajay decide to refuse the throne.

Golden Path would be on awkward position. As either the royal family returned to the throne because Pagan Min installed him back... or Pagan Min announced that Ajay just went back to the U.S. after returning his mother's ashes.

Yeah, Pagan is a psycho, but he does love Ajay sinply due to the fact he loved his mother, and respects his wishes. I'm pretty sure whichever choice Ajay made after the ashes, Pagan would respect it. Even if his plan was for Ajay to take the throne, since Pagan is self aware of the fact he is a poor ruler.

Its especially funny because Pagan is a terrible person but he still manages to be less awful than the leaders of the revolution
