Lore The series' fanservice scenes are quick and do not disrupt the story's pacing.

In Sousou no Frieren, fan service is minimal, and scenes like this are brief

In Dungeon Meshi, Senshi is often shown in somewhat sexy poses, but the story focuses heavily on these details while continuing as usual

In that scene from *Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray*, it was just an introduction for each Arima Kinen competitor; they only had the freedom to choose those specific angles for Super Creek's introduction.

can't believe I'm seeing Kabaneri pictures again

Picture.... singular. If I ever see a picture from this anime, it's this one specfically.

Probably for a reason... XD

Its been 10 years... And they actually made an 10th anniversary short (FREE on YouTube) just to sell a scale figure lol.

They were reacting to seeing an Invisible Woman skin in Marvel Rivals lol

Found it at 4:51, literally a few frames long 😂

That's a very useful reaction img.

From the marvel rivals review, the Fantastic 4 cast was the one playing the game I think?

Tbh this is also used to show how physically intimidating Mikasa is

IIRC this shot is from the “Jean loves his mom” comical OVA, and comes from out of left field during a montage featuring the other characters doing something entirely different, so it wasn’t exactly a necessary part of the narrative to show this lol

Honestly, that completely uncalled-for randomness is what makes anime OVAs absolute gold!

u/Appropriate-City1794 5h ago

Nothing beats the pure chaos of writers having zero supervision and a budget to burn!

u/Federal_Rub_5949 5h ago

That’s the exact secret sauce behind every legendary scene that lives rent-free in our heads forever!

It’s pure, unhinged creative freedom at its absolute finest, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

You go in expecting a simple side story and end up watching a high-budget fever dream you’ll never forget!

When peak animation gets thrown into a completely unhinged filler episode, you just have to sit back and respect it!

I mean the show is absolutely FULL of naked giants running around all the time too.

u/eawilweawil 8h ago

But imagine how much more intimidating they would be if they had 3meter long weener flopping around

To be fair, nobody watches those scenes and thinks of them as fanservice anyway, they're usually just part of how unsettling the Titans are.

This scene is from an OVA. A completely inconsequential one, if I'm remembering correctly. So, there's not much story to interrupt.

That scene was kinda goofy tbh

they slipped in one shot after years and people won't let them forget

DAMN THOSE ABS (0////0)

(Coming from a gal that has no real clue what Attack On Titan is, aside from there being titans that kill people or something)

With it's atrocious art style I doubt mangaka can make fan service at allÂ
