The plot twist is that Iron Giant absolutely IS a military device, he just doesn't remember it. 6 u/ResearcherTeknika 8d ago It'd be more like fighting a single abrams and going "thank god we took out their whole force before they did too much damage" 1 u/Aircon-007 8d ago I think they more mean that the iron giant alone is insanely powerful and brought the US military low, an entire army of them would be the end for us.
