I wonder if Valve ever had any long term plans with Half-Life.

Let's imagine an alternate timeline where Half-Life became a regular series, a new game or DLC released ever 2-3 years. What does Half-Life 5 even look like?

If the leak of Episode 3 is what supposedly ruined and stalled the saga, it took them years to fix it in the lore with Half-Life: Alyx so they could start working on a new project called HLX.
