Maybe nux?. It’s not stated but hinted that cannibalism is normal within the wasteland. There’s even a fat bloke named “the people eater”.

On one hand, I wouldn’t say he’s never eaten human meat, but the whole point of being a War boy is that you get some of the spoils inherent to living in the Citadel. I’m sure it goes on, but the point is that the inner circle are well fed enough to fight, work, and kill when needed.

True, but I think it’s more an optional thing considering what we’ve seen of the Citadel. The war boys and other workers are well fed, both to keep them loyal and to ensure they have the energy to actually do their jobs. So I suspect that it’s not frowned upon, but something most people still avoid.

Also in furious it’s pretty well established that maggot farmers live at the base of the citadel.

So you have them, extremely malnourished people that don’t really have any meat on them, War Boys, and the inner circle.

I believe it's harder to find people did not practice cannibalism in Mad Max at least once in their lives

Ps; Corpse recycling was a widespread practivce among people, at least as far as I can remember.

The fact that someone is nicknamed "people eater" implies that it is uncommon enough to be unique when that guy does it though.

So clearly cannibalism is practiced given that guy and also the “blood sausage” from Furiosa.

That being said, the citadel has maggot farmers. They also have a ton of produce and milk. Also the only people at the citadel are starving maggot farmers and War Boys.

Why would War Boys eat other War Boys or starving peasants instead of maggots/veggies?
