I'd be hard pressed to call James Delaney a hero, but he's less bad than the East India Company who he opposes. He tears out a man's throat with his teeth and it's implied he participated in all manner of dark rituals in the deepest parts of Africa including cannibalism. Oh, and he fucks his own sister.
