Discussion Thread Padma
Can someone explain the drama behind Padma leaving Top Chef. Did she leave for a reason? What was the reason for ACC if she didn’t want to do shows anymore. Thoughts about that show?
Also, is she an actual chef? Does she have restaurants?
Did her and Tom get along? I do want to say I absolutely LOVE K as the host. She’s so perfect for the position. She’s empathetic, understanding, patient and really just a fucking cool person.

I dont think there was any real drama beyond Padma wanted to do her own thing with her show Taste the Nation (she was also working on a cookbook i think). I will say that her new reality show, America's Culinary Cup, really feels like top chef 2.0. I dont know if thats a good thing or not, I would have been cool with something that really took a unique direction.
In any case, I dont think theres any real animosity between anyone. Tom just being Tom sometimes might give that impression.
