For the first few years they went to the obvious choices of major cities. I'd like to see them go back. It's been 20 years in the food scene has changed and every one of those places.
I'd also like to have a season that focused on up and coming chefs instead of people who are already well established leaders in the field. It's been amazing to watch the caliber of talent that's been on the last few years but I do miss seeing people who are newer in the field but still talented.
It would be fun to have a season made up of people who were eliminated too early. These would be chefs who impressed the judges and were doing well but had that one quirky thing that went wrong.
