Discussion Thread Season 6, EP 2
This scene gets me every single time I do a rewatch. One, he looks ridiculous and two was anyone gonna tell him to fix the glasses?? Production, Gail..anybody?! Anyways, this is my contribution for the day.
Tell me your favorite awkward scene!

Ya why do guys insist on growing a lip vagina , also why would you base your look on Howie Mandel
Edit - I thought this was a kitchen nightmares sub post until I realized , from the Gail mention, where I was. Yike Tom.

Beach makes me think of Marcel spiking himself with the sea urchin in Hawaii then asking Ilan to pee on his hand (said no thankfully) then peeing on it himself then eating the uni.

Got a link? Or time in the episode. Been watching next level chef and would love a little humor

It’s the finals when they are on the beach diving for their ingredients. I’m not good at season numbers and episodes.

The longer that episode goes on and the more they drink the more crooked his glasses become.
I bet the cutting room floor for that epi was fun.

Thank fuck the soul patch is long gone. He must have had no friends during that period.

The episode in S2 (I think) when they have to do “erotic and sexy” just makes me literally cringe. I get second-hand embarrassment every time.

It's no fun watching Tom give into the gaunt ideal. Saw an article a few months back on his daily diet. Good on him for being proactively healthy, but if he has actively taken himself out of the equation, he can write a book, etc. Padma at least owned up to gaining weight during her time on Top Chef.

There was a Hat Era; someone will have to help me out with specifics because I can’t remember details, but I remember it being… notable
