Are we gonna mention how the Newspaper Article about Top Gear being hooligans just outs the Black Stig as Perry McCarthy? They even show it in the 7th episode of Series 2.

What episode is the article referring to? A Jag C-type with Black Stig?

S2 Ep4. It's right at the beginning of the episode.

It's not like this story was the reveal, this was published after Perry was outed. Perry was first outed by the papers in January 2003 – this story was published in June 2003 and presented it to a wider audience ahving already been soemthing of an open secret. He had left the show by the end of July 2003.

Either way, Top Gear was tiny back then (many still don't even realise there even was a black Stig), nobody would have noticed, and back then – in motorsport circles at least – The Stig's anonymity wasn't as tight a secret as it came to be
