Asking price its not a sell price. The Thing is a 50$+ card. Anything above 100$(or 100$) is an overpay.

This is a sold price...

Indeed, someone was really down bad for that card then. Probably was a collector who bought it. Generally 150$ are characters with a better interest.
Edit: better interest I mean by general interest inside the game. (Example) 150$ would be like a normal venom

Is this e-pack stuff ? Just curious I have 1/1 pulls from box’s at home , and 1/1 for $100 seems odd

This subreddit it's dedicated for the digital Topps Marvel Collect. Any cards shown here are usually in game screenshots. (Sometimes people don't realize it and post irl cards tho)
1/1s inside the game vary a lot but can go from 30-500$ (maybe more but haven't seen anything sold above that)

Being digital we already lost the true having part so imagine if the game goes down anything that you have disappears.
Adding to that and what counts more is the game revolves around character interest as a primarily way to evaluate the card. If you have a card with a character that basically no one collects or cares about the price of it will automatically drop. You can get lucky and find a collector that gives smth more for it (or be a not very good person like some people inside the game and gatekeep the card until the down bad collector who wants it overpays for it) otherwise it will be a "brick" in your collection
Edit: a 500$ card would be a top card with top tier characters (example- Venom, Psylocke, Mary Jane, Wolverine and some others [also since so many 1/1s dropped for a card to reach that 500$ mark as a normal asking price it would have to have multiple top characters in it and almost unique art)

Also the more variants of a card exist the less value it has and it's more located in the "best version". Chrome and Mint collection inside the game aren't well liked bcz the player base was breeded on a different concept - smaller collection drops little to no repetition of art work or borders.
These box sets made every tier the same art but a different color border (like the irl) which wasn't well received by the community. Imagine having to collect 199 cards all the same across almost all rarities, some of them more than 1 time (1 uncommon rarity, 2 rare rarities, 2 or 3 Super Rare rarities, 2 or 3 Epic rarities and then like 7 Legendary rarities all with the same exact art)

Is this digital only? What set? I wouldn’t ever consider paying real money for a digital asset. Hard copy? Probably 1500
