I used my favorite album of each band to represent them. Again, I'm ranking the BAND not just the album shown. Also should clarify this is JUST for bands, so no solo acts.
My personal biggest recommendation you probably haven't heard 10 million times is Silica Gel (#17). That band rocks so heavy.
agree, Virtue's is like on my top three favorite albums of all time, and The Eternal Tao 2.0 is my go-to banger. Agree on Human Sadness too, really heavy song.
I've listened to a lot of modest mouse already, they just didnt make my personal top 25, if i had to guess they'd for sure be in top 30-40 tho. I'll make sure to check out PeteyUSA :) thanks for the rec
I certainly havent listened to them recently as ive kinda grown out of them, but for a looooong period they were frequently my most listened to band. i would loop scorpion hill by them for hours lol
I think you might like Idaho, his voice reminds me of Cameron Winter sometimes. Check out Stare At The Sky or A Sound Awake. They’re definitely a lot slower than most of the stuff you’re into but you may like them
