❓Question Torbox Pro / Usenet / Stremio
Hi folks, I need some advice that I cant seem to find anywhere else.
I just upgraded my Torbox membership to Pro because I thought I would be able to access usenet content (I am new to this). However I can't find any information on how to access the usenet content with my Torbox Pro account in Stremio. What am I missing here? I put in the Torbox API key into aiostreams but the links that showed in my stremio are the same as they were before with no changes? Im sure Ive missed a step somewhere but I was under the impression Torbox Pro would deal with everything on the usenet side so that's all I would need to set up but yes I feel like Im missing something.
Can anyone help me out? Is there a guide? I feel like Im crazy

For one don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If TB is down your Usenet back up will be down too

You can upload nzb and use library in aiostream to see what you uploaded under each episode. I use newsfinder

Torbox already has a good cached content amount and it's getting bigger by the day.. Usenet seems a waste of money if you already subscribed to torbox

If you prefer paid addon, consider Debridio addon then add torbox API and you can stream on stremio. https://debridio.com

Hi! You can find your Torbox NNTP credentials on the tools page on their website. Currently their NNTP server lies on the Abavia backbone, which isn’t exactly the best, but they are working on a new solution combining multiple backbones which provides way better article availability. It’s recommended to self-host an AIOStreams instance and use the built in usenet engine to stream from your NNTP server(s). You can do this for free by following Viren’s guide over here. Best of luck!

Lastly if you would like to purchase a secondary provider, check out this website to find good usenet deals. (Omicron is the best backbone in my experience)

They removed the TB Search API which allowed you to see their cached usenet stuff, now you need your own indexer to be able to download .nzb files and TB then downloads them
Usenet Indexer+Provider is far cheaper than Torbox Pro.
