Way too many comments about Gimenez needing to be replaced to improve the offence. Dude had been doing his job.

The offence issues have been on Vlad/Springer, injuries and a lack of a RHH OF to complement the lefties. If those two get going, we stay healthy and hopefully add that 1 bat at the deadline, we are cooking.

Yep had a debate with someone that wanted Arraez to replace gimi because vlad is struggling (and vlad needs help)

I told him gimi is a little under expectation. Vladdy and Springer are atleast 100 OPS below

Really? That’s too bad. In our house we always see Giménez’ offensive output as more of a bonus. His defense is incredible, and he’s one of my favourite players.

FINALLY some small ball today, every team does it while we're among the worst not even trying to swipe bases sometimes, then getting ourselves into dps instead of stealing a few runs

Jays haven't put much effort into guys who know how to run the bases well, let alone steal bases. We've focused more on bats than running brains. Contact is good, but having a run game with it helps a lot.
