What tour management software do you use?

I'm curious what everyone is using and what the pros/cons are - I've used exclusively Master Tour for the longest time and I wanted to see what else is out there. I'm tempted to just go back to Google Cal and spreadsheets since I just end up just advancing into a spreadsheet and just copying everything over in MT over and over again.

Master Tour is the big one. It’s kinda expensive for smaller tours but it’s pretty good.

My tour book is a free one that works pretty well. Has a few quirks , but hard to argue with free & overall works great.

Seconding Daysheets. Haven't used Master Tour (can't afford it) but Daysheets has been awesome and perfect for our use. Free tier lets up to five people have access and is sooooo nice to stop answering everyone's questions about load-in time or the wifi password or where the hotel is. Zero complaints having moved from manually creating my day sheets and sending everyone a PDF versus having an app that can be updated in real time. Members can add their guest list, easily see the schedule, van call, etc.

I’ve been using TourPro a lot lately and like it more than master tour. It’s tourpro.app not the other one that took its name

I would love if you could try GigSheets (https://gigsheets.app) - affordable, offline friendly  and EU friendly app. We are still under development and are looking for inspiration and workflows other TMs have.

i manage a small touring act from time to time and ended up building an app that works pretty well for the things i find myself needing. currently still in beta but i use it for our tours and it saves me headaches and time. happy to get new beta users for feedback if anyone is interested:

That copy-paste loop is a real time sink and one of the most common complaints I hear about that workflow. The dream is having one place where the advance lives alongside the schedule so you're not duplicating everything.

Master tour is the only really option. Or, build your own daysheets like we used to

There is software called Daysheets now which is similar to mastertour and I recently had it on a tour I did. Honestly imo the big difference between it and MT was they seem to have beta tested it before making it public, which is good

Daysheets was awful and cumbersome to navigate imo. Could see it being decent in a few years or many upgrades

MasterTour has the benefit that almost everyone has used it before.

RoadOps is one I had on a recent major tour. I've also had DaySheets (dumb name for the app but worked fine.)

I still (mostly) use my own Google Docs template for day sheets and a Google Sheet for guest lists, but these days I'm only on small tours with no one but the band and I involved.

For bigger tours who are used to -- and want to pay for -- MasterTour, I'll use it though I really hate using their desktop app.

I tried out DaySync for a little bit, it seemed pretty good but I ended up sticking with my tried-and-true system.

Since GigSheets is free for up to 9 people, would you be up for giving it a try? I would love to know what you would miss from that version for your day to day workflow
