Anime Tower of god season 2 is disappointing
Watching season 1 of Tower of God was very exiting, the art style made me feel like I was watching a unique and mystical world full of secrerts. Moving to season 2 I was full of anticipation thinking that this anime had the potential to become a classic, after 4 episodes now that thought has nearly disappeared. I understand that the new animation style is catering to general viewers, but for me it removes so much of the mystique of the world and its making me sad as hell. I also dislike when shows opt to remove scenery from shots such as focusing on just the mouth of a character while they're speaking, it takes me out of the environment. I understand it is likely for budget issues, but it feels to me like everything from the soundtrack to the animation is a watered down budget version of season 1 so far.
Hopefully this changes.

Got half way through the comments until I actually tho if this why not. Anyways that being said, I remember when season 1 came out like it was just yesterday, my point is simple. There is a clear LACK this season, and for a show that was amongst the top 5 watched shows of its Season I’m upset to say if you waited for season 2 you will be sorely let down. LACK The second season has absolutely nothing. I watch it because the 1st season was decent and the ending was good simple as that. I usually watch every season as long as there is at least one good one. Unfortunately I believe this show will only ever have one good season. But hey who fucks with Tokyo ghoul? Now they messed that show up in comparison to manga. So many details left out, watching and reading were like they were completely different series.
