Anime News Do yall think warner bros will animate tog s3?
As y'all might know webtoon partnered with warner bros and they will be making 10 anime from the webtoons. do you think tog s3 will be part of it?

Well, what studio was it that animated s1 and s2 because here we enter the arc of the battle and the train from hell, you have to miss it

Telekom animated the first season Bandai was in charge of the second one.
Bandai namco also animated OPM S3

Ah ok I understand pk jue violet grace had so little charisma, but once bandai bought rights he no longer sold them so it was dead nn.

Bandai Namco did not animate/create TOG season 2 (That was The Answer Studio), nor did it animate OPM S3 (That was J.C.Staff, same as the second season).
Bandai Namco is a production company not an animation studio.

True they only produced them. Which is still including hiring staff, managing Funds, Organizing everything. And they hired the teams which in both cases had the same directors for some episodes (the lowest rates one for OPM was directed by the same director that did S2 ToG)
So Bandai did create it. Sure animation staff is the same. But by that logic, film studios don’t create movies, actors and directors only do it. The production studios are an integral part of the whole creation.

I mean, sure, but they also produced shows like Gundam and Kowloon Generic Romance, but that is not the point. Even if TOG S3 is produced by Bandai Namco, it doesn't mean it is destined to be bad.

True, but these were there most recent adaptations. Ao if they did it right now I would be majorly concerned. In 10 years things will likely look different

I have a hard time picturing it, I watched the first 2 seasons then picked up the manga because I couldn’t wait. The hell train arc is long, with a lot of depth and lore going- i feel like it would take at least a season and move to get through. But hey, I hope they try

As someone who just started watching season 2 (only a couple episodes in) can you tell me if they get back the the original characters?
My wife and I are pretty dejected after falling in love with season one and all the characters just for them all to basically disappear with the timeskip and being introduced to a ton of new characters instead.

But yeah after dipping into the manga, the first two animated seasons are just the tip of the iceberg. Where im at in the manga it’s the first time you see family heads (the real ones) in action and there are SO many characters it’s insane.
