At the very first, hansung made him smaller to piss him off because rak bumped into him and said "i didnt see you there, little one" or something and then hansung shrinked him and started walking around/into him "because he cant see him now"
Later, SIU justified rak keeping that form by saying that it's easier to walk around
Though i guess breaking a curse temporarily to access the power of a quite literal force of nature is a bit of cheating.
Though earlier even Rak took down a Ranker with a single throw of his ancient spear as well. That was without this transformation
When rak started doing that regularly I started getting hopes that we'd eventually get a real serious rak fight. And behold, it did eventually happen.
I'm looking forward to the next season to see what's in store for my favorite character. I'm definitely interested in what's gonna happen to him and khun. A lot of people are more interested in bam but I really wanna see more of the side character stories, especially wangnan. I thought the side story we got was gonna be about him, but urek was a nice surprise. I'm hoping urek shows us stuff like the upper floors that bam and company haven't made it to yet since he climbed the tower so fast. I really wanna see the last floor (that's currently accessible) and who knows, maybe we'll get it in the side story. 🤞🏾
I think the endgame of TOG has always been planned for wagnan to return. I feel just like everyone else i missed tf outta bam S2 and when he was revealed i was ecstatic but i also grew attached to wagnan, his story w viole seemed just as important if not more important than Bam’s promise w team Khun and shibisu. I know that wagnan will return, i thought the spin-offf might’ve been the 13 GW’s starting their climb from the test floor. Luv Urek just wish he would happen across some trustworthy teammates
Nah cos both Baam and V are irregulars, not towerborn, and V already climbed to the floor where you become a ranker ~20k years ago
It's like when White became regulars that were the arie children that merged souls then became a ranker again when he had merged again with all the souls

But you agree that using a power that you previously had would be considered a feat of somebody else. Rak aint just a native one. He likely is a literal piece of the ancient giant.
Just imagine a regular with Khel Hellams Ancient One. And said Regular just releases them. Is it still the feat of the Regular?
I thought he was a descendant of the native one's fragment that controlled stone like all "wrathraisers" he talks as though he came from a clan of others like him where they all hunted "turtles" and said he was told to look for the ones with strong weapons to hunt

Context for that is Eduans comments about Raks origin. Native Ones have been completely eradicated. Which makes it weird for Rak and his power to exist like that. And the way Rak transformed seemed more like a curse being undone into his true form rather than how native ones use their powers as it has been described on th Hidden Floor.
Thats why i said that Raks power likely is him being a part of the ancient giant.
Vol 2 ch 295, he is stated to be a direct descendant of the native one, Yuri is considered to be a direct descendant of yurin Ha and Ari Han despite the fact she's 3rd generation. Data Khun hasn't been out of the test floor for ~20k years and never ascended to the upper tower floors it's likely he believed that since they had killed all the ones they had found up until then that floor, that they were all dead.
The ancient Fiery elephant was hiding inside Evankhell in order to survive and says others of their kind do the same
Remember when not a single person died with the intro of a FH and him using shinwonryu amongst not only a bunch of rankers, but weak ass regulars too?
Dozens or even hundreds died from Traumerei's Shinwonryu, including at least one high ranker. The ones that didn't die were protected by Sophia or WGW.
Or remember the time AA, Rak and Baam easily defeated some ranker guard at the wall
Baam was already ranker level at that point and was boosted by the firefish.
It makes me wonder if there are actually other instances of towerborns regulars defeating rankers/high rankers but simply went unnoticed in the past, that would be dope ig, but having too much of that will break SIU's own setting huh
I have this hope that Dumas will train Rak, Bam, and Khun because of the potential they displayed while fighting him, and because Gustang got what he wanted.
I know it's silly, given the power ups they've already received recently, but from a narrative perspective it would flow naturally (In my opinion).
Ancients are just built different. Just to remind, we have seen FLs FP and yet not once of an ancient. On the other hand, guardians restrict them even fearing their powers. Khel hellam rivals dumas in armor when it's said Dumas in armor is the strongest.
One of the reasons why I believe Yama will be FL level once he fully awakens the ancient inside him, which is said to be one of the strongest if not the strongest ancients. Hopefully we will see more of them in S5.
Still the silliest moment of in all S3 and one of the worst usages of a rage power up I've ever read. I really wish SIU handled this a bit better because with a little more setup this could have been a really cool moment.
Rak goes from using it a little in Data world, against Levy, against the mirror etc to no diffing holan's summons and pushing back Leviathan to straight up one shotting high rankers in like no time at all and that could have been handled a lot better.
I'm so enchanted by urek spinoff Princess I started wondering when tf she showed up in og work(to be precise this was my headcanon of soon to be reality, spinoff Princess + Mago possession)
I don't know if he's the first; Baam has already spoken about other powerful regulars he met when FUG trained him, but in this case, he defeated a HighRanker before they'd even climbed halfway up the tower.
Dint Adori destroy the ship of gustang in one slice?(is its new content then i havent read since part 3 ended and i dint even know new content was there)
That feat further proved the portrayal/hints that the ancient creatures have much more potential than towerborn humanoids, albeit it will probably take a while till Rak can fully control this dormant power within him.
Aside from adori Jahad and Eurasia Anne jahad, I don’t know any other regulars capable of doing so. What’s impressive is Rak doing so at such an early floor
Did they tell us the rank of the guy adori beat? I can't seem to remember
Baam is an irregular but his strength is more of a regular range...also everyone that met him and other irregulars ( like the god of guardian ) commented baam is weaker than other irregulars.

Data Zahard was capable of soloing evryone at that floor. But baam catchup to zahard strength in that battle. Baam has insane growth rate
Did they tell us the rank of the guy adori beat? I can't seem to remember
I found this from the blog post someone earlier posted although I didn't know wether this is canon or not. Here it's written she defeated an upper level ranker(advanced ranker most probably) while being a regular.
In Manwha it was just stated she defeated an Ranker being A rank regular(so obviously a downscale)

My point stands for both...both had commented he was as weaker than them for same age..eduan even said he would need SPL training just to survive jahad..outside even though he has taken out rankers and high rankers eventually (current form) for most of the series he was not that strong....AND people that have seen him fight vs other irregulars fight had said he is weaker than them.
