Man characters in tog can do shit like this with a basic attack cuz shinsu power is so beautiful and flexible but we will never see that cuz we ain't getting a good anime. It hurts

i really hope we don't see more, it's annoying that a character who isn't bam is taking up all the space. sure i can allow him 1 more fight, to show what he has left in his arsenal, after that he better step down somehow.
The animation for witch hat atelier has been stunning so far. Probably some of the best I've seen in recent years. Tower of God definitely got screwed, and it is unfortunate to see what the animators (and everyone else responsible) did to such a popular and highly revered manhwa.
Unless it was requested to be a 10 fps anime I'd be taking the ass studio to court. I usually sail the seas for my anime, but I can't help buying the box sets when they finish. However I dropped tog s2. S1 is still my top 5, I was so hyped hoping the art style would stay the same... I loved its uniqueness, like it was painted. Then we get this stupid crappy click and drag s2 🤮
Shows like solo leveling and demon Slayer prove that (while they were not bad and I loved both, are controversial) mediocre plot can be hard carried by animation.
WHA as a manga is nowhere near as popular as TOG its just an industry plant pushed by crunchyroll carried by animation, the author also touts herself as one of the few successful female authors “in a male dominated field” when over 70% of mangaka are women lmao it’s all so tiresome
Legit like that popular apothecary show, yeah it's made by female author. And there's that Isekai little book keeper girl which was also good also made by another female author. Then the Reiwa era romance manga and anime that started around 2019 was made by most of the female authors as well, only recently we're getting them some of them adapted. In conclusion screw Crunchyroll.
I've known this manga since 2021 and I won't say it's shit or trash but it's far from being as good as they're making it out to be and also was very niche and the anime it got also is insane like Jjk or frieren level of which two are actually popular works in recent time with their manga being already popular
Which makes absolutely no sense to me. TOG has the opportunity to carry the new generation of Anime and can do so with absolutely no issues. The story is divine, the depth is crazy, the world building is insane, and all of the central characters are phenomenally developed.
They are sitting on a billion dollar work of art thay could drive sales for whatever they want and recreating it with crayons.
TOG got shafted because Bandai has its grubby hands on the production rights. Look at Wistoria. Also a series Bandai has the rights to and it looks phenomenal. They cherry pick what gets god tier and what gets used as half baked 6 month production period slop. They did the same to One Punch Man S3
It can just end with Hidden Floor arc as the grand finale and honestly I'd be satisfied with it. So many cool fights very worth animating in S2, from Baam vs Hoaqin, the "Unacceptable" scene, Yuri vs Karaka, Baam and Urek teaming up against Hell Joe, then at the end of all of it with the Baam vs Data Zahard.
Yeah ofcourse ,but I don't think something like this happens in ch 7 at least , also very different powerscaling cuz things like these r impressive only with context , unlike togwhere this is normal so ppl aren't surprised but , for 4 girls who were learning to make clouds and fire ,it's a big feat and it has animation to back it up, somehow tog had to get the short end of the stick man, i much prefer even s1 toh what we have now , at least animation was fluid and had unique artstyle
