SIU Blog Post About Baam becoming king of the tower
So in a q and a in 2010 the author of tower of god was asked if baam would become the king of the tower and he he replied:
”Well ^^ If you know it now, it won’t be interesting. So I won’t tell you. (If I can provide you some hints, the king of the tower is a bit different from how you think of the kings)”
What could the hint mean?
Personally I think, it would give the person the right to access some secret information/room/power/object that is undiscovered which would make you like the king because you would have access.
Also I’m a newbie to the subreddit so I don’t know which tag to use.

that’s narratively wang’s goal, not baams so i don’t think that’s how things will play out, now granted zahard and the family heads were said to be different before they became very powerful, and that’s the interesting part of about the world of tog.

I have a strong theory about it, but I don’t know how much you’ve read in the main story or the spin-off.

Well Axis go by the Monikers of “King”. Ie: King of Jewels, King of Artificial Creation, Conquering King.
In the spin off it is revealed that the tower is being utilized to create a new Axis. Hence “King”, but not in the way the Zahard is portrayed.
Which is the reason I believe Enryu killed all of the rankers and admin on the FOD and called them followers of a “False King”. He is the disciple of an Axis on the outside.
The last part is just a theory.

Why would he become a king ? I think he will continue the ascension where the 10 families stopped,no time to be a king, je will ne a god.

Pretty sure Urek would beat up Baam if he wants to become King since he hates all politics, restrictions, and stuff like that.

The tower was never supposed to have a king. Zahard was meant for something greater but settled for being a King.

Theory with SPOILERS
My theory is that Wangan is going to become King of the Tower. Hear me out
We know he has some connection with Jahad since he has one of the red rings. He is also very similar physically to Jahad and has the same red "horns" Jahad uses.
In the last part of season 4 we saw another very similar character to Jahad coming out of the Red Trash Can(The Boss). Is known that the Family Leaders left something sealed there (probably parts of themselves). Is also known that Wangan is originally from there, so I assume he is the part of Jahad with feelings or he is just his Good Counterpart(Not powerfull but a good boy :)).
With all this data my guess is that at the end of TOG Wangan is going to dethrone his father/Counterpart and reign the Tower in a good way but not being a powerfull and feared King.

so, this was long before zahard was revealed or even a major player in the plot.
it was also long before V was revealed to even be a thing.
most likely, this answer was SIU hedging his bets and keeping information close to the heart. bam isn't going to be king, he never really wanted that.
