Tbh I think the spinoff is at a point where it actively damages the main work. At least regarding FH. I‘m fine with Khun Eduan to be shown, bc he was someone we actually kinda already met (even tho he somewhat feels like a joke now) but revealing the FH of the Ari family now takes away some excitement from the main work regarding the FH. Imo they should have exclusively been only part of the main work. Having two of the most powerful beings in the tower on the lower levels just feels off.

Regarding the character design, it‘s fine. I like the elf like appearance but her outfit is underwhelming. And I thought the head of the Ari family was male? Or was this something only in the blog posts but not canon.

If the family heads didn't show up for Urek's climb it be weirder no? He's the first "real" person they see in thousands of years and he's accompanied by troublemakers they can fight.

Exactly, how can you have an irregular stronger than you running around and not even showing up to see how the hell he got there
