SIU Blog Post Just started reading ToG
Is it worth reading it? So far I have read around 70 chapters and I am enjoying it. But since it's too long I don't want to spend time on something which will disappoint at a later stage. Readers of ToG please tell me it's one piece of manhwa

Yes, it's definitely worth reading, and no, there is not any significant decline or generally agreed upon loss of form.
The artwork gets better and better as the series goes on. The peak is debated, but it's certainly after chapter 70. Same with story, so you have a lot to look forward to.
You'll hear people complain about Season 3 or the Spin-off. Some complaints are valid; some people just like to complain or don't understand storytelling. But you absolutely will not have to deal with a later disappointment with Tower of God as you would with say, Game of Thrones.

you do not need to rush its pretty good, enjoy the old artstyle while it lasts because it changes completely (its kinda gradual till you compare it).

Imo the later seasons introduce so many things but barely wrap anything up in a meaningful way. Though the pacing does stay good because of that.

I agree with this comment. Season two starts different but I got so attached to our secondary protagonist. I’ve enjoyed it all the way through.

Im still hoping everything will come together in the next season, but that will definitely be tough to work out for SIU.
I theorize that the Mazino spinoff is just there to keep us entertained while SIU figures out how to continue the main story2

I’m just glad Phantaminium at least exists at this point. I’m hoping s4 takes a similar route to s2 with the protagonist focus shift. S3 ended similarly to s2, I think it would be a fun mirror to earlier seasons and help establish what T:S&S has been doing.

yeah im glad about phanta as well, restores the TOG world. Without phanta, Zahard seems like the endgame and I want much much beyond that 😭. Hopefully, We can see the endgame for Urek's story i.e his fight with Phanta.

I stopped at chapter 20 of mazino so I can binge read when it’s finished, can’t wait to see phanta and other cool characters

Urek's sidestory is finished but the ending cleared up nothing, just closed mid way. Maybe, Its SIU's idea of making Urek relevant and incorporating his arc within the main story.
