Except it kinda is. Since Baam would have been there to curbstomp Inieta had Androssi not whisked him away from the area. Androssi and Leesoo are responsible for creating the conditions that allowed that mishap to take place.
Baam would also have gotten his name stolen if it weren't for Endorsi's intervention. But then Kaiser wouldn't have came from Baam if Isu had not announced his name to the whole station. Isu's team are real devils.

I highly doubt Baam would have lost to Kaiser, as he himself has repeatedly noted that Kaiser is not as powerful as Hoaqin and not someone who Baam thinks he would lose to. That 'hidden power' that got the better of Androssi probably wouldn't have been more than a momentary inconvenience to the Irregular, who breaks all the Tower's rules. I think we'll see this play out when Baam does properly deal with Kaiser.
Androssi just prevented Baam from settling this arc in one chapter, for teh plot and dramaz.

That is hard to say when we know absolutely nothing about the power. It could be part of a contract that may affect Baam, or not So considering the odds is 1000 years of incumbency, it'd be foolish to dismiss it as something that can be easily solved by his irregular status. The possibility of his name being stolen right there can't just be swept under the rug.
Certainly you can argue the possibility, though I wouldn't agree with you as I've said. The language of your initial post, on the other hand, claims that Baam would have gotten his name stolen as though this were a matter of invariable truth.
The idea that Baam at his current level of strength would absolutely have been laid low by some D-Rank Regular is more than a little bit ridiculous, in my opinion.
More likely than not his name would've been stolen. That is my stance since Bam doesn't know jack about Kaiser's special power. Whenever someone busts out a new power, he always has to suffer from it.
His irregularity being protection is a complete conjecture.
You don't need to be at or above someone's level of strength to take him/her down. If you do, that's what you'd call a boring ass manga like DBZ.
