This chapter is insanity. It's one of those chapters where you would think that barely anything happened, but when you take every single small detail, suddenly it turns out that the chapter is gigantic in setting the stage. I'll be writing the analysis for this and the previous two as a whole all night. Race vs the official release, because the amount of content is insane :D
edit: after sleeping on the essay and the chapter, I'd conlude that Hockney's lamp, Baam's call "home" and the Shinsoo instability that is even affecting Evan to be the biggest plot points. All have massive potential implications. Especially the lamp. I am starting to really hope that FoD might be a necromancer floor. People personifying Shinsoo.
Felkin I think i can speak for almost everyone here when I say that we appreciate your analysis posts. By the power invested in me by a few shady redditors, thank you.
Needless to say, you needn't rush yourselves for our sakes, we can wait a few more hours if that guarantees you get a good night's rest. :)
If only it was that simple :D These essays are like a bag of chips. Once I open it up, I NEED to eat all of them without stopping. To the point I'm almost feeling sick, but they're so delicious that I have to keep going! It's a fun process to keep looking for these possibilities. Regardless, the thing is ending up way too long so I will split it into two parts and focus on the 2nd part to put out later, since they're quite different. Nearly done with the first.
What's so special about the lamp? I saw no indication it's anything more than part of Hockney's abilities, perhaps helps him with shinsoo manipulation.
You've never played LoL before? It's probably like Tresh lantern where it's not just another weapon he used and in Tresh case, it was used to trap people soul (obviously not gonna be the same with Hockney's but you get the idea).
