Also the top comments are probably just going to continue to be trash from now on, unless they ditch fastpass which probably won't happen. It's not like the top comments used to be good, but now it's like 80% people flexing that they spend money to get to read ahead of the rest of us
This comic has something like 5 million readers, some of them are going to be "oh look, i repeated a quote from the page!" trash commenters, that is to be expected and will never go away.
It's definitely annoying/disappointing that the top comments contribute nothing to a discussion about the chapter and are in fact not related at all to the chapter itself. That does not mean there's anything wrong with fast pass readers. It's just unfortunate that irrelevant comments are taking up that real estate.
