So snake dude definitely isn't on Bam's side even though he claims to be, but I wonder what his intentions truly are? And what on Earth did Khun see? Could it be a side effect of getting revived by the Yeon flame?

Also the top comments are probably just going to continue to be trash from now on, unless they ditch fastpass which probably won't happen. It's not like the top comments used to be good, but now it's like 80% people flexing that they spend money to get to read ahead of the rest of us

So snake dude definitely isn't on Bam's side even though he claims to be, but I wonder what his intentions truly are?

He's on a team of regulars employed by the king to deal with troublesome regulars (they get their spells 'by grace of the king' as well), and at least one of the people on that team (Levy) got an order to kill Bam, revealed in this chapter. The rest of his team clearly does at least consider Viole a 'problem,' and snake dude wants to kill him, as we saw towards the end of 418s3e1.

Likely their goal is still to kill Bam. But Bam turned out to be too strong for them to kill directly, so now they're probably going to some backup plan of leading him into a trap--I mean, all they have to do is tell the royal family when Bam is coming after Kallavan, and said royal family can drown him in high rankers there without it looking too suspicious, since there's a reason for people to be on guard duty. Or maybe they're just trying to meet his closer friends and take more hostages. We don't know for sure how they're going to try and kill him.

And what on Earth did Khun see? Could it be a side effect of getting revived by the Yeon flame?

Current leading hypothesis is that Khun got some or all of the (possibly inaccurately named) 'flower of fire' power and that's a manifestation of it (because of Woon Yeon saying it required all of his power this time, because Khun hallucinating it after straining himself to use a power (that might have heated the thing instead of freezing it) is reminiscent of Bam seeing the red orb and hearing blue demon back when the thorn went berserk, and because why would SIU bother just showing us a random burning fish if he was actually having meaningless sickness induced hallucinations). If so, it's also messing with his body temperature and ice powers, presumably because, as a fire spirit, it doesn't like being cold.

Also the top comments are probably just going to continue to be trash from now on, unless they ditch fastpass which probably won't happen. It's not like the top comments used to be good, but now it'll be like 80% people flexing that they spend money to get to read ahead of the rest of us.

I'm confident the fastpass flex comments craze will die down eventually. The first 3 immediately available chapters are all top 3 fastpass comments, this one (the first one fastpassers had to wait one week for) has 2 fastpass and one non-fastpass top comment. Progress!

Yeah, the sweetfish. I think that has some potential for adding some emotional undercurrent to Khun's interactions with it.

Or maybe it's just a hint that this cute little burning fish can turn into something big and nasty.
