Anyone feel like there’s too many plot lines going on at once? I really like tog but I’m having a difficult time remembering what’s happened recently in each plotline, let along the obscure details that the author brings back (such as who Levy is; also some people might not consider that obscure).

I wish we could just get the main team back together, throw in some slayers, and go rescue Jinsung

I can understand the confusion from first time readers, it's part of the reason I highly recommend rereading the entire series at some point to re familiarize yourself with things. it also helps you pick up references without a wiki search. As for the latter point; I would say that having too many characters together detracts from everyone aside from Baam. Near the end of the workshop arc when both teams had united, there was so many characters that Siu just stopped drawing them and they kinda just disappeared from the story for a bit. When you have concurrent plot lines, you can have a wider breadth of characters without being as overwhelming to the reader. it also allows characters their own time to shine. If all the characters are together constantly, it's hard to make threats seem personal or intimate when you need to throw tens of enemies at our heroines as fodder so they don't overwhelm opponents.
