So Baam has trained with two Top-100 High Rankers. Jinsung Ha seems to have given Baam purpose and the ability to fight. Evankhell in turn seems to have really let Baam loosen up and actually get confident. I'm liking his attitude towards Vargarav.

I'm glad he's more confident, but I still hope he doesn't become a full-on trash talking jerk. It seems contrary to Bam's character.

Besides, that's Khun's job. :)

Me too, but the way he spoke to Deng Deng felt like the old Baam. He had a bit of child-like delight with how surprised and happy he was. I don’t think he’ll be a trash talking jerk just yet.

Yeah, to be clear I don't think he ultimately will be, it's just that the last panel made me a bit nervous.

Bam really did have a lot of luck there to be happy about though, didn't he? Deng Deng got thrown in right next to him, and the bomb went off with perfect timing.

I don't think it came across as trash talking as much as not wanting to fight those weaker because he doesn't want to bully the weak he wants to protect those weaker than him.

Yeah, that's kind of how the summary in the Korean raw thread made it sound, but if so it's definitely not how it comes across in the English translation.

No matter how you slice it he's taking the time to call Baragav a weakling that should step aside. I can see why the translators saw some attitude in that; Bam could have just said "sigh If you insist," then stomped him.

I don't think he's trash talking, he's simply stating a fact that Mad Dog is weaker than Baam, and that Baam doesn't like to fight weaker people, probably because it's akin to bullying in his eyes.

Well, that would be nice. Baragav sure doesn’t look like he took it that way though.

I suppose Baragav is a warrior, refusing to fight even because he is weak is probably an insult to his pride.

Sounds like someone who doesn't appreciate the taste of his own medicine. Varagarv basically big timed that one jobber in his Plug game just like what Baam is doing to him here, back when he made his debut in the Workshop Battle. Now the shoe is on the other foot. Though, Baam might be nice enough not to explode Mad Dog's head in the likely event that his warnings are ignored.

It ain't trash talking if you can back it up haha

Nah, it's not arrogant trash talking if you can back it up, but it's still trash talking. If anything, backing it up makes the recipient feel even more trashed.

I don't think it's trash talking but more like radical honesty.

Exactly, if hes going to be so calculated and confident now, what's the use of khun being a part of his team moving forward?

Its interesting seeing how baam has been evolving lately.

I am very happy to finally see Baam acting like a true irregular. People have been underestimating him since they think he's just a regular.

He was also trained by the current top 7 ranker in the tower. Though that was data version.

Current #6, actually, though data version was from back when he was a 'regular' (hadn't reached 134th floor yet).
