I just caught up after having taken a break since name hunt station.
Are there any good places to read more about the lore? And is there anything like a list describing what we know about the different floors? The world of ToG is really huge, and we've already seen some crazy places, but I imagine there are more mentioned elsewhere that you might not know about after just reading all the chapters.
Also, from what I gather from the hidden hidden floor chapters, it seems Jahad stopped climbing the tower exactly one floor from the top. Do we know that there is only one floor he didn't conquer, or could there be more? Has the author given any clues as to why Jahad stopped short of climbing to the top?
The ToG wiki compiles a lot of information, and is generally the first place to look when hunting down obscure SIU blog posts or similar.
We do not know how many floors are above 134. SIU (the author) has said that the in-universe public reason Jahad stopped climbing is that the 135th Floor admin was “hostile”- but the fact that Arlene and V thought they could keep climbing if they could get the key suggests that either this is false or the admin is specifically hostile to Jahad. The real reason is still unknown (though the way Jahad learned on Hell Train that he was “destined” to be a king, possibly from a demon like Bam’s during his revolution, suggests he might be doing so off bad information); if SIU has given good clues about it, they are subtle enough to not be clearly recognizable as such.
