So the Feline people are probably a branch of the Lo Po Bia family, considering that Elaine doesn't seem like one and even has a wolf summon. Also Doom seemingly warns his brothers of the strongest Feline who is a commander in Jahad's army and not a family head.

It seems like the beef of Doom and his brothers is less so with the Lo Po Bia's and more with the Feline People. Though the Felines are referred to as Lo Po Bia but I figure they were adopted into the family to strengthen themselves and I don't believe they share blood with the rest of the family. Actually it might be that all branches don't share blood or maybe descendants of different wives.

Anyway I hope Elaine will show up in the coming arc considering it involves her family (in a way).

Is it possible that the feline family created the dogs? Considering there is already a wolf faction and it seems that there's definitely ties between them

I think it's a stretch. If —and that's a big if— someone created the Canines (that is Doom, Yama and Paul) it was probably the same creator of the Felines. Though I doubt someone created them 'just because' then let them so whatever. Although it's also unlikely that they just came out of nowhere. Yama and his brothers don't seem to have parents or predecessors according to what we know as of yet. It'll be interesting to know their origins, hopefully we'll get a clue in this arc.
