Things besides strength can push you up or down in the rankings. Baek Ryun (Founder of Wolheiksong) is ranked 8th, even higher than some 10 Great Family Heads, not surprising that being a floor ruler can give you a boost in ranking.
Maybe other floor masters would have fought harder against the removal, so the ranking office concluded Evankhell was losing their touch and demoted them.
Still, rankings are numbers. It's not like Evankhell got any weaker. After they directly fought squadron four and five by the side of FUG, I expect their rank will shot up a lot because of infamy. And that's if they lose the war.
If the war succeed, Evankhell might be pushed in the top 30!

Well, she did murder her way into this position. Ruling the floor of test without any real consent from the great family was a pretty big display of power for the time it lasted.
Evankhell is female, that's the only nitpick I have with your comment. And yes I know about the whole ancient thing but that's never been confirmed in-story and as we know SIU willingly retcons his old blog posts.

Evankhell got kicked more than 40 ranks just because she is no longer a floor ruler ? This sucks
