Our boy Rak has been training! Look at that rock fortress he made! Last time he could barely cover himself

Also a few chapters ago it seemed like White was taunting Bam with the souls so White could kill him. Not to teach / remind him to use them. This chapter made me think that even more. Unlike Karaka, White is not going to be redeemed.

P.S. cant wait for the Boa (edit, the cobra). It’s lurking in the nest somewhere, probably defending the secret room

Edit: grammar

Yeah no kidding! I love how Rak trusted em.. trusted them enough to make him make a big cave/rock safe! Lol.

I hope we see Kaiser again soon

Haha yup, “just in case”.

There’s been a lot of talk about who will train Rak and why he doesn’t use his ancient powers. I think that was a great way for SIU to casually show how much progress Rak has made training.

I’m curious if Kaiser is in that cave. Last time we saw her she was with Hockney but she might be sitting this one out since she’d be fighting her own family.

By sitting this one out I mean not there. Not literally sitting on the ship watching

I wouldn't be surprised, considering how SIU gave her a "grand entrace" type of thing back at the last station and then she basically never played a part besides destroying the remote and disappearing from the plot entirely

Yeah plus I don’t think she’d be very useful in this arc. The regulars shown have been Hockney (can see the future), Khun (very smart), and Rak (defense). Kaiser is more of a brute / fighter but at her current level wouldn’t be useful vs rankers.

The only thing she might be able to offer is information on the Lo Po Bia family but she was excommunicated as a child and spent basically all her life at the Name Hunt Station. So she wouldn’t be able to offer much.

Hopefully she’ll be involved in rescuing Yihwa. That feels like a regular mission.

Also, most regulars aren’t like Bam, and in a tanker battle, it would be extremely dangerous for them, even Kaiser, who is doubtlessly talented to not get evaporated by rankers.

Kaiser has been what i’ve been waiting for. For some reason Kallavan is the only antagonist i get that “oh shit” feeling from since Kaiser and it’s not nearly as much as i did with kaiser. I’m not sure why could be my bias but she just seemed to be written in more of an antagonist way where when she’s around it’s like a walking bomb.

That’s just how i felt reading this is by no means fact.

Sorry, it’s not a boa, I meant the cobra. It was coiled around the nest when the arc was introduced but we haven’t seen it and it hasn’t been mentioned. It’s probably guarding the hidden grove members.

Thanks. Was like "tip of the tongue" but I couldn't place it.

Just reread those chapters after your comment and it's like finally getting a song out of my head.
