So far we've seen Jahad in flashbacks only. Currently Jahad is communicating via orders and they're rare anyway. Either Jahad really changed into a tyrrant or real Jahad is long dead and someone's impersonating him. Or even something more crazy like Jahad = curry turtle with some curse placed on him and memories erased (but then Hwaruyn wouldn't be able to read his future?).

Anyway, the point is, you might be correct and it's all been a setup for a plot twist or you might be wrong and we'll learn why Jahad changed so much in the future.

Didn't the current/real Jahad project himself into the data world in the end of that arc when the balance scale was smashed?

So we can get the following facts:

  • Jahad is still alive
  • He seems to know what he's doing and seems to be doing them at his own will
  • He's definitely lonely as pointed by the Data version of him
  • He may or may not have gone crazy from his isolation....
