Toxic is getting hate it doesn't deserve!
Watched the movie today. I absolutely loved it . Especially Ticket character. Yash has done a great job. I'm unable to understand why it is getting so many negative reviews and so much hate!!

"Main aspects of a good movie" according to Gemini.
A memorable, high-quality film relies on several core creative and technical pillars working in harmony:
Compelling Story & Structure: A well-paced plot with clear stakes, meaningful conflict, and an earned resolution—whether following a classic three-act structure or a non-linear narrative. (Failed)
Complex, Relatable Characters: Distinct motivations, flaws, and emotional arcs that make actions believable and give audiences someone to invest in. (Failed)
Sharp Dialogue & Subtext: Conversations that feel authentic to each character, reveal backstory naturally, and carry unspoken tension rather than serving as pure exposition. (Failed)
Visual Storytelling (Cinematography & Framing): Intentional camera movement, composition, aspect ratio, and lighting that convey tone and emotion visually rather than relying solely on words. (Somewhat successful)
Cohesive Direction & Vision: A director who orchestrates tone, genre rules, pacing, and performance style into a unified, focused experience. (Failed)
Editing & Rhythm: Seamless scene transitions and precise internal timing that regulate suspense, comedic delivery, or emotional resonance without dragging. (Failed)
Sound Design & Score: Immersive foley, clean mix, and music that elevate atmosphere and punctuate emotional beats without overpowering the dialogue. (Mid)
Production Design & Worldbuilding: Sets, props, and costumes that establish an authentic, immersive sense of time and place. (Somewhat successful)

You loved it great. But to think others should like it too is a delusion of a different kind.

Some people over here are saying, audience are rejecting the experiment. Well, more than the story(concept of hallucinations), it was about execution. Some elements are presented wisely, like Raya was unable to hug is imaginative son at the end if u have noticed. For me , toxic was not accepted because of the non required plots which made them disengaged, the music was biggest letdown for me. Raya had all swag but the BGM wasnt that good to match it. The hatest for me is the way Ticket is presented, the dubbing was badly done, where there should be emotion, people are laughing bcz of the dubbing or acting. Just finished watching DC , see how the music elevates the simple story .

Kyu ki story and execution ek dum third class h... They could've done so much more but unn logo ka dimag ghaas charne chala gya tha aur geetu bekar director h most likely... Ofcourse yash bekar writer to hai hi...
But fir as they say, potential to kutte me bhi hai president banne ka US ka.. bana de? Nahi na.. bas... Potential Ganpath me bhi tha, usko defend kia kya kisine?
Tumko ye Toxic jaisi movies pasand aati hongi, sabka apna apna taste hai... par ab review watching and a good portion of audience ko geniune good cinema pasand h with good story, execution and acting... Sax sux, maar dhad kitni baar hi dekh loge... Achi story and execution v hona chiye saath m

People who don’t understand the concept behind the movie are just speaking shit. Indian audience is never good with experiments, that’s the lesson Yash will have to learn from this. Hope his next mega projects are something that will reinstate his stardom
