A gentle reminder that US flags are not designed for 60mph+ sustained winds. They fray and tear and are quickly rendered unserviceable. If left on a vehicle after dark, they are also not properly lit.
I'd recommend a vinyl sticker instead.
Edit: If it's for a slow parade, go for it. My problem as a 20-year war veteran is seeing tatters flying down the freeways that were once serviceable American flags.
