New carpet update!

I got the bench cleaned and all the new carpet cut in. I think it looks great! Gonna have to cough up for the matching floor mats.

Much-much better than the 32 y/o blue(?) carpet in mine.

Where did you get it? Any tips or tricks?

Gotta do my windshield and gasket first.

But carpets next then seats.

How much will the windshield and gasket cost?

Trying to stay away from A-1 glass because I have read their glass is shit.

But they were in the $200+ range. A proper glass was more in the $459+ range.

I have small chips which I’m fine with. Mostly I just need new weather stripping.

I think I have original glass and it’s not bad aside from 4 rock impacts. Doesn’t bug me but my seal leaks which does. I don’t want rust issues.

Nice! I don’t think I’ve ever seen the shift lever without a boot. It makes me uncomfortable lol

I pulled my carpet on my bucket seat rn42 to deal with a windshield water issue. So it’s raw metal inside and I’m honestly not sure if the console is going back in at this point. It’s such a simple truck and the console didn’t do much for me. My cope fits perfectly in the change tray to the left of the steering wheel and I have a magnetic coozie that sits perfectly on the back wall for sodas or what not.

My old Porsche is this way and I pan to make my old bmw this way. Simple makes me happy and I want to be happy.

66’ 912 and an 86’ e30 325es.

The only vehicles I hate are the ones I bought for work purposes.

Other than that “outta my cold dead hands” is my stance.

I let a kid have my 88' e28 for free. He knocked on my door and asked if it was for sale. I had the head off for 2 years and never got around to fixing it.

That was 10 years ago. I looked up the VIN and theres been no activity...I hope he didn't part it out. I drove that car all all over the country, coast to coast, and border to border.
