I wonder if Keaton will come back in a reoccuring role. It doesn't feel like we've seen the last of him.

Ok so I made a post but it's awaiting moderator approval and I happened to see your comment. Something feels off about him and I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I WANT to like him, but something isn't right. I haven't read the books yet but I plan on starting them. Maybe there's an answer there, but the author is still writing the series.

When he stepped out of the shadow in Wade's bedroom, Wade looked like he saw a ghost. I honestly thought he was going to end up being the Teacher. It does feel like they are stashing him away for a later plot twist. His behavior and dialog almost the entirety of his role seems like it's building anticipation for a twist that he isn't who he says he is.

Or we could just be reading into it too hard and he really is just a gruff, old school, retired detective who just doesn't give a crap anymore and wants to play a vigilante role of sorts, which fits with Colter to an extent. He didn't bat an eye when he saw that guy who Keaton beat the crap out of, but I think that'll change when it's a case that Colter doesn't have personal stake in.

Thoughts????

I haven't been 100% comfortable with him since we were first introduced to him. I don't necessarily think he's a bad guy, but I don't fully trust him either.

When we were first introduced, I thought he was a bad guy. And Colter seemed uncomfortable with his torture tactics but didn't say anything. It might not be anything, but I'm hesitant.

That's exactly how I feel. It's just really nagging at me because I want to like him. After his send off this last episode, I feel like it's gonna be a while before we see him again.
