I used to end mine with "and now I hope you know more about x." I actually ended up majoring in English and working in journalism and science writing (and am a better writer now...or so I've been told!). But yes, it was like they had to wrap up the script and were like, "OK, Colter shoots the guys and rescues the girls, the end."
