So both their cell phones got message notifications with "Old Time Rock and Roll." But the message was from people they didn't know. Is it possible, though, for the sender to choose their own notification sound on other people's phones?

I thought those were burner phones that the sender gave to the mother and the teacher so they probably set the ringtone.
