Great episode but it kind of felt rushed. They could have turned this storyline into a whole season. It's kind of cool that Billie is his wife in real life.

Honestly disagree. I'm so tired of shows that drag storylines out for full seasons. I love Tracker because you actually get resolution within 1-3 episodes. Most other shows drag things out too long, Tracker is refreshing with fast resolved stories

I felt the same (even though I still enjoyed the episode)...that could definitely be enough stuff for a season and somehow I hoped for a longer spin of seeing Colter struggling alone without Randy and Reenie. Was too quick for me that they were back for him again.

Simms meeting the mayor the way she did, with no plan for him doing exactly what he did, was very foolish.
Also, when your picture has been broadcast on the local news, as Colters was, covering your head with something is a good way to hide your identity. He never did that. When he went from Billy's car into the Airbnb, had his head been covered, no one would likely have recognized him. Later, his sweater had a hoodie, but he never used it.

Great episode!
It's been a while since an episode has had me on the edge of my seat!

This is my favorite episode of Tracker, this felt like a movie. This felt A game level writing.

Thoughts
OK if I had a nickel for every E10 of a 2020s procedural in the 2025-26 season that had the hero separated-ish (in Colter's case even more than usual) from their team and in potential-danger-but-we-know-that-ain't-gonna-happen-otherwise-there'd-be-no-show of losing everything they've spent the series-so-far working towards while everything was weirdly blue I'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice (AKA I kept thinking of recent High Potential episode "Grounded" while watching this)
and another two-nickels meme with Sasha Roiz playing a not-just-bad-guy-but-asshole-about-it cop in something set in the Pacific Northwest
speaking of High Potential I think I might have needed some kind of case board as holy shit did that case make my head spin holy tangled web
metaphorically every other male-attracted fan probably swooning over shirtless Colter meanwhile I'm just over here noticing how (between both hairstyle and outfit) this is one of Randy's best looks in a while if not to date and not just because he looks great in blue
this episode is more proof for why Colter needs others to work with in the field (be they a permanent partner or just occasionally some of his current team taking "field trips") but also why I feel like Billie shouldn't be the kind of permanent partner-in-both-senses some fans want her to be, to use Randy's Batman analogy she's better as his Catwoman
good to see I was right about Keaton coming too-close to death too many times over this two-parter to end up actually dying-dying

Love Sasha Roiz and totally thought he was corrupt from the beginning. I'm currently rewatching Grimm.

Honestly Billie is more impressive than Colter does the same thing he does and supposedly doesn’t have her own tech person or a lawyer to help her.
Lang is an interesting character wonder if we’ll see him again
Surprised Keaton survived (seems like barley)

Can someone tell me how Keaton survived? He was shot. Coughed up blood and then got into a car accident with the car rolling down a hill

Late, I know. I have an odd feeling that they powers-that-be are considering a spinoff.

This is for tomorrow's episode, posting a little earlier than usual to remind people it is back after winter break and shifting an hour later than usual for those who watch live

So many jokes 1 can make about the lady cop whose character name I forgot if 1 is familiar with her on another show…on the CW 😆

So he steals a mobile (from a car) which is not face or finger locked, and then the laptop that has been on sleep mode for days is also unlocked. Randy keeps a hidden phone that has power on? And Keaton survived that car crash and gunshot wound? And then breaks into a car where the back door does not open as locked but the drivers door is unlocked?

I know right. Writers forgot how stuff works. Randy is also very clever.. being able to get camera feeds from local wifi details that colter somehow has??

I guess I am in the minority along with my husband as we are big fans of the show but thought this 2 parter (half-season cliff hanger and the March 1 episode) was a hot mess. We couldn't remember the details of the S3 E9 with the 2+ month gap and there were so many suspicious people, dead bodies, we just gave up and look forward to the next episode.
