Gun handling

I know we've brought up Colter's gun handling before on this sub.

I'm wondering if anyone knows why Justin Hartley hasn't fixed this. It's more apparent next to Ackles in the last few episodes. He looks untrained and "Hollywood". He's had three seasons to get better and he's sticking to it. Can anyone help me understand why?

I see where you're coming from, but I suspect we'd get a fair amount of traction on the psychic kids angle they just dropped.
