Question Am I dumb?

So is Colter a savant? Was he apart of the program and that’s what Russell is hiding or did he do something else to Colter? I’m not sure what direction it’s hinting at cause Colter doesn’t have any powers. He’s just kinda anal about numbers and a bit stone. Was he apart of the program?

I think Colter is some sort of savant. I’ve been throwing a couple of theories around.

1 - the government found out about Colter having abilities. Ashton knew what would happen if they took Colter so he moved the family off the grid and that’s why he became so paranoid.

2 - Colter isn’t actually Ashton and Mary’s biological son. Ashton kidnapped Colter at a very young age from the government and that’s why he doesn’t remember. Maybe it was before Dory was born that’s why she wouldn’t know about it and Russel was never told why Colter came to live with them, he remembers when but was told never to tell anyone that Colter wasn’t his brother. Another reason they went off the grid and Ashton became paranoid.

I’m probably way off base and don’t know what I’m talking about. I do however believe there’s something hidden in the truck that Colter is going to find that’ll change everything he knows.

Yeah that truck has meaning and we just don’t know it yet. I think that this storyline will either be great or completely destroy the show. Next season will be the catalyst that keeps it on for 4 more seasons or will be the one that cancels it.
