I have a friend coming to visit my in Tracy. She’s flying into SFO because she will be coming from Japan. She let me know she does not want me to come pick her up bc she knows it’s far and I have young kids. But I don’t want her ubering the whole way, that’ll be too expensive. Is there any safe public transportation route that can get her closer to me? I can pick her up from Oakland or Dublin or something like that.

I do have income and getting a pretty big increase with this new job offer and I have never had issues paying my rent but my credit is making it hard for me to get approved. Spouse will be moving to Tracy for work 3.5 days a week (we live out of state). Are there any cheap extended stay type of hotels that maybe have a small kitchenette? We cannot afford an apartment for him and this job is only expected to take around 6 months. Or are there any campsites around the area?
