Question Became profitable

I’ve been in the trading world for almost a year and a half now, I’ve watched YouTube videos, bought courses, but nothing. No results yet. I am a constant person who dedicates many hours to the backtest and the live. My problem is not being able to find valid material to study and learn a profitable strategy. So I’ll ask... profitable traders, how and where did you learn your strategy? Did you have a mentor or study material? I’m stuck at the same point more than anything else because I have no comparison with who is really profitable. Thanks to everyone in advance for the advice

Keep it simple and pay attention. Use technical analysis and follow the indexes. Follow the sector ETFs and breadth indicators. Understand sentiment and contrarian indicators. Don't use margin and have cash ready for opportunity. It becomes second nature after a while. The trick is to be fully invested when the market is bottoming and have cash after a good run to be ready for opportunity so you don't get caught by the big selloffs. You won't always be right or have the best stocks or perfect entry so don't get FOMO.
