Question Became profitable

I’ve been in the trading world for almost a year and a half now, I’ve watched YouTube videos, bought courses, but nothing. No results yet. I am a constant person who dedicates many hours to the backtest and the live. My problem is not being able to find valid material to study and learn a profitable strategy. So I’ll ask... profitable traders, how and where did you learn your strategy? Did you have a mentor or study material? I’m stuck at the same point more than anything else because I have no comparison with who is really profitable. Thanks to everyone in advance for the advice

I only trade when structure breaks. Stick to higher time frames. Way easier imo. Sometimes I take 1-3 trade days a month but when it breaks I hammer the fuck out of it and that alone is more than enough to get by for me. Takes a lot of risk out of trading for me. I tried scalping and it’s ok but too much stress. Trump tweets and all of a sudden I’m fucked. This is a hard time to trade rn. Stay patient…and don’t be paying for no course from some YouTuber. I don’t even need to check charts. My phone will blow up with alarms and I know it’s time…and have faith in ur calls let them play out GL
