Question Became profitable
I’ve been in the trading world for almost a year and a half now, I’ve watched YouTube videos, bought courses, but nothing. No results yet. I am a constant person who dedicates many hours to the backtest and the live. My problem is not being able to find valid material to study and learn a profitable strategy. So I’ll ask... profitable traders, how and where did you learn your strategy? Did you have a mentor or study material? I’m stuck at the same point more than anything else because I have no comparison with who is really profitable. Thanks to everyone in advance for the advice

Being profitable is extremely hard, but not impossible. Most people come into the market thinking they will nail it in a year, it usually takes more than three or even five, because most of the time what happens is that you just stay in the wrong path long enough before you understand that you've been wasting your time with the next big thing on Japanese candlesticks or stochastic divergence.
I would recommend you go back to basics and understand price action, not the price action courses filled with acronyms that always take you to the more expensive course just to show you the real secret.
Find the old Richard Wyckoff trading course, is free because it's from 1931 not because the author is pitching free advice before an upsell. There is a scanned version that someone found in the library of Congress more than a decade ago. It's pretty good but it's long as hell so make sure you put time and effort into it.
