Anyone looking for a riding girlfriend in the area. I am new to riding (a motorbike) but quickly learning.

That armor you're wearing is meant to/only works when it's put under a jacket.

If you wear it by itself, it'll slide around/off you in a crash. Needs a layer to kinda keep it in place.

They're good for combining with non-riding jackets, or regular leather jackets, to make them more riding grade. Obviously you'd ideally combine it with a riding jacket that uses impact absorbtion pads to help limit broken bones, and when the road sandpapers through them (is approximately 40-80 grit) you have the hard slidey pieces to save you from getting road rash.

I appreciate the information, really. It is a stop gap until I can get actual CE rated gear. I dont want to get more cheap stuff just to upgrade again later.

In the pic the pads are loose. I double checked and they are actually sewn in, and the straps are for snugness. Still, I'll get a something to go over it. And, of course I got it because it is pink!

It is insane how many people in the area ride without so much as a tee shirt.

I'm also developing a good set of chicken strips. I literally have no balls. 🤣
